Most cameras of mobiles lose for normal cameras (compactas point and shoot), both resolution as in the quality of photos. Despite this advantage of the compact in relation to camera phones to be decreasing, she will always exist because the technology of sensors and lenses evolve in both (Compact and mobile phones).

But the lack of quality has been compensated in next-generation smartphones using photo-editing applications in real time. The application of filters that give appearance of old photo, apply HDR effect, simulated pictures taken with Polaroid cameras and other ancient consecrated, are things you can not do with an ordinary compact camera (still) without having to move photos to a computer and editing software like Photoshop.

This type of application has become popular with the iPhone Instagram. In Android smartphones there are dozens of apps in the Android Market for the same purpose and for a few months I tested a few alternatives (PicSay, FxCamera, Photoshop Express, Vignette, CameraZoom, Picplz, HDR Camera, LgCamera, Camera360).

As I was looking for an app to replace the original camera application on my phone and already apply the filter automatically after the picture, chose the following for personal use: Camera360 and Vignette. Both are paid but they have free versions with fewer resources.

Bug in music player of Milestone 2

The music app that comes on Android 2.2 do Motorola Milestone 2 has a very annoying bug.

Some minutes after entering the screen lock, the music stops playing.
In fact it stops anyway, even though the screen is not blocked.

I tried everything to solve the problem, such as: install another music player, configure the app as a service in memory while maintaining,check the task manager or task is killing the killer app, and none of this advanced. Also searched on forums and not found the solution, the only bug reports.

I noticed that all apps that use the default manager for Android albums present the problem and not just the default player, PowerAmp app but you have the option of playing songs in a specific folder on the SD card, so give the guys bug.

But this week I found a way to make the default player to play music without locking.

Open player, go to Settings and select 1 hour nap in the field, select the album or playlist to play and have. Do not leave the player in the foreground, for that just hit the home button,and do not press the button to turn off the screen (button turns off), leave the screen automatically delete.

Doing this, you have at least 1 hours of music playback.

I decided to make rootin my Android, and now?

Firstly, which is root?

It is a special user Linux system (in which Android is based), who has access to all files and system settings. No Android, only this user can change the internal settings of the system, delete apps factory, activate hidden features, install custom ROMs, etc. It is a process similar to jailbreak to iphone.

Gaining accessroot is easy because there are several tutorials on the internet as east of Morimoto. Just be warned that gaining access to root you may lose the guarantee of your device.

I personally did root Android on my order without installing a new custom ROM (which does not exist for my device, Motorola Milestone 2) but not access resources available in the default ROM Motorola (and try to erase the terrible Motoblur).
